Kimberly Lenzini is a Partner with Jackson Buckley & Pfanenstiel LLP. Ms. Lenzini is a skilled and experienced litigator and has years of experience in a variety of practice areas. Ms. Lenzini specializes in complex family law matters including the litigation and negotiation of high income and lifestyle maintenance and support, valuation and allocation of complex and diverse property matters, and the resolution of high stakes parental responsibilities disputes. Ms. Lenzini's experience as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem makes her uniquely qualified to both negotiate and litigate matters relating to minor children. Ms. Lenzini also handles orders of protection and criminal defense matters.
Ms. Lenzini is a passionate advocate for her clients and believes strongly in working with her clients directly to evaluate their goals and develop clear strategies to obtain them. Prior to joining Jackson Buckley & Pfanenstiel, LLP, Ms. Lenzini worked at one of the nation's largest family and matrimonial law firms. Prior to her work in matrimonial law, Ms. Lenzini was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Lake County, Illinois where she prosecuted complex criminal matters and ran numerous jury and bench trials. Ms. Lenzini's wide array of professional and personal experience has given her a unique perspective on interpersonal and interfamily issues, and an understanding and familiarity with what families experience during divorce and separation. She is able to give direct and unambiguous guidance to her clients during the most difficult times in their lives. Ms. Lenzini is an experienced litigator, with the ability to obtain the desired result for her clients both in the courtroom as well as through out of court negotiations and settlements.
Ms. Lenzini is a lifelong resident of Lake County and is active in the community. She is a member of the Lake County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She volunteers her time as a board member for Waukegan 2 College, an organization focused on helping students prepare to enroll in and graduate from four year universities.
Ms. Lenzini obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2011. In law school, Ms. Lenzini focused her studies on litigation and trial advocacy, as well as clinical experiences.
